SUBMISSION OF LEAGUE MATCH RESULTS

 
 
 

TELEPHONED RESULTS

The HOME club is required to submit the result and match details immediately after the game is completed. It is imperative that the correct telephone number allocated to the division is used as lines may be call diverted to an assistant results officer

Results should NOT be submitted earlier than 6 pm when play has taken place. However, in the event of no play being possible or a game called off at a very early stage, results should be submitted as early as possible.

Any results submitted later than 8.30pm will normally be regarded as ‘late’ and will attract both a financial and Merit Table penalty.

Clubs must ensure that the person responsible for ringing in the result is fully aware of the requirements.

PREMIER DIVISION, DIVISIONS 1, 2 & 3

Result for these divisions will be accepted by either Albert Pattison or Samantha Lyth

DIVISIONS 4 & 5

PHONE to  01904 492600 by 8.30pm on match day

Results for these divisions will normally be received by an Assistant Results Officer

RESULT SHEETS

Detailed Results can no longer be submitted via results sheets. It is a total requirement that all results are submitted via PLAYCRICKET, to which score card details must be posted by midnight on the Wednesday following the match. Failure to meet this requirement will result in a financial penalty and deduction of Merit Table points. Persistent offenders may suffer the loss of League points.

MARKING - GROUNDS, UMPIRES & SCORERS

All clubs are required to allocate marks, as follows:

  1. In Premier Division & Division 1        - BOTH neutral umpires
  2. In lower Divisions                                    - the opposition umpire only (do NOT mark own umpire)
  3. The AWAY team (only)                          - the pitch and outfield
  4. ALL teams                                                    - the oppsotion scorer only (do NOT mark own scorer)

All clubs are required to submit their marking sheet for every game to the Managing Secretary (Albert Pattison), to arrive no later than noon on Wednesday following the match using the addressed envelopes provided.
NOTE: The submission of marks be email or fax is only acceptable by prior arrangement
