HALL OF FAME

The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to provide a vehicle for the recognition of individuals who have made a substantial contribution to the York Senior League and whose playing exploits or contribution to the League or to a particular League club, have made a strong and lasting impression.

Categories

• A. Outstanding Player
  
  To be awarded to players who have either:-
  
  

  • Had outstanding careers over a lengthy period of time within the York Senior League
  • Produced a series of outstanding individual performances within the York Senior League
• B. Lifetime Achievement
  
  To be awarded to individuals who have either:-
  
  
  • Played in the York Senior League for a lengthy period of time and shown dedication and a sportsmanlike attitude
  • Have served the York Senior League or a league club in an administrative capacity for a lengthy period of time

These are the over-riding criteria and mean that activities outside the purview of the York Senior League are only of minor consequence when considering the merits of any individual.
