FACILITY MARKS 2008
(Merit Table)

 


In 2008 the League Committee revised the procedure for the marking of Club Facilities with a view to achieving more consistency in the marks awarded and also in order to properly reflect any improvements made by clubs.

Whereas the revision lends awareness to the ECB’s Facility Strategy and the requirements of ‘ Clubmark’, the focus is placed firmly on the requirements of the League that all clubs achieve and maintain the specified standards for facilities.

The Grounds & Facilities Committee, under the leadership of John Goodrick, has identified a number of clubs whose standards are below an accepted level and will be working in partnership with club management with the aim of achieving improvement to an accepted level.

The categories for which marks are awarded , together with maximum marks available, are as follows:

Club facilities will be marked during the season by members of the League Committee and other appointed persons.

It is intended that each ground will receive a minimum of six assessments during the course of the season
