  1. The Des Wyrill Cup - Outstanding Batsman

Qualifiers for this award must have scored a minimum of 500 runs in the highest division of the league. The award will usually go to the qualifier with the highest average although the judges have the discretion to give the award to a batsman who has scored a lot more runs with a slightly inferior average. Should no batsman score 500 runs, the judges may award the prize to the batsman they consider to be the most outstanding or withhold the award.

  2. The Alan Shipley (Secretary’s) Cup - Outstanding Bowler

Qualifiers for this award must have taken a minimum of 50 wickets in the highest division of the league. The award will usually go to the qualifier with the best bowling average although the judges have the discretion to give the award to a bowler who has taken a more wickets at an inferior average. The judges shall also take into account the run per over rate. Should no bowler take 50 wickets, the judges may award the prize to the bowler they consider to be the most outstanding or withhold the award.

  3. The Bill Pool Memorial Trophy - Best Young Player

Qualifiers must not have reached their 21st birthday on the last match of the season. The award will usually go to the young player who has been, in the opinion of the judges, the outstanding young player in the highest division of the league. In exceptional cases, the award may go to a young player in a lower division. In arriving at a winner, the judges will take into account every aspect of the game. i.e. batting, bowling, catching and wicket keeping. The judges have the right to withhold the prize if, in their opinion, no young player has performed to the required standard.

  4. The Doug Mackay Trophy - Most Stumpings Award

The winner of this award will be the wicket keeper, in any division, who has made the most stumpings in league games. This award was restricted to the top division only until 2000 (now all divisions).

To be awarded to the wicket keeper claiming the most victims in the Premier Division

  6. The Malcolm Ripley Trophy - Best Scorer

  7. The Lol Morse Memorial Trophy – The Greatest Contribution to the League’s Representative Teams

To be judged by the Trophy Panel in conjunction with Team Managers. To be awarded to the individual who, in the judges’ opinion, has made the most significant contribution to the success of the League’s representative Teams.

  8. The Don Layfield Trophy- Best Marked Club Umpire

This is a new award from 2009 which is given to the Club Umpire who receives the highest average mark in the season, as recorded in the Merit Table.

  9. The Tony Frith Trophy - Best Contracted or Overseas Player (until 2009 only) then Best All-Rounder

Only registered Professional or Overseas Players were eligible for this award. In arriving at a winner, the judges took into account every aspect of the game. i.e. batting, bowling, catching and wicket keeping. The judges had the right to withhold the prize if, in their opinion, no professional or overseas player had performed to the required standard in any year.

Owing to the rule change in 2010 which prevents most overseas players from playing in the League, it is now inappropriate for this trophy to be awarded to the "Best Overseas or Contracted Player. The League Committee, after consulting Mrs Wyn Frith, has decided that, in future, the trophy will be awarded to the Best All-Rounder
